Calwell Primary School

Some of the teachers aren’t very nice. One time I was answering honest questions about how safe I felt at the school and the vice principal yelled at me and made me change my answers! She read out all my answers to everyone. She didn’t try to make me feel safer at the school either, all she did was yell at me for being wrong. I didn’t know there was a right or wrong answer? Isn’t it supposed to be honest answering? I was just being honest. Although, the school definitely did help me to be more confident. I made many friends that I’m still friends with to this day. I don’t know what I would do without them. That all happened during 2019 to 2020. So I don’t know if they’ve changed or not. I hope they have.

My sons love Calwell Primary. The teachers and staff are great. The impact of the Positive Behaviours for Learning program is noticeable and students are proud to be safe, respectful learners.

I personally went here as a child, and I absolutely hated it. However, I should note that as of 2017, I left it 5 years ago, so there was plenty of time for it to improve. I believe it deserves the benefit of a doubt, but I would still never go back, not even with my own children.
