Berrigan Public School

Bad experiences here. I got mistreated a lot when I was at this elementary school and the staff don’t do anything to help the bullying problems. I got blamed for something I didn’t do and the teacher refused to listen to me. Instead blaming me for something that was out of my control. Don’t recommend. And something I wanted to add was, the school knew I was going through a hard time emotionally and had a hard living situation but still mistreated me and did nothing to resolve their bullying issues. Nope. Some other student blamed me and the teachers took it upon themselves to target me for it when I was a little kid who was also dealing with a hard living situation and didn’t do anything wrong. Didn’t even listen to my side of the story, insisted it was all my fault. Sad behaviour all around. Hopefully they’ve hired teachers with actual empathy now cause no one deserves that. No teacher should ever act like a bully to a student.

The Worst Flucking School in Ontario. They take stuff from their students and my kid lost his toy once because the teacher refused to give it back. Overall -100000 out of 10. Go to Adrienne Clarkson instead. The staff are great there.

Very irresponsible teachers and disrespectful staff. My daughter who is in SK always comes home with scars and bruises on her body and she says that when she tells the teachers they don’t do anything about it. Today she came home with a scar on her hand and said that a classmate pushed her on the gravel and the teachers didn’t even clean the wound the just put a bandage on top of the dirty wound (the wound was covered with dirt and sand).

Berrigan is a bad school with bad staff and a very annoying student body. My parents are sending me there to learn something, but I don't think I'm learning anything. If I had to give Berrigan a grade, I would give it a D. If you're looking for a school that will help you get a good education, Berrigan is not it. I don't want to go there anymore.

I have attended this school during my elementary years. Smaller school, with a very tightly nit community environment. Staff are average, although there are some teachers that need be more respectable to students. Gymnasium is decent, classrooms are average size, and playground has a large enclosed play area. Overall, not a bad school.
