Prairiewood High School

As a recent graduate, high school experience at Prairiewood was fun, fulfilling & enjoyable. The education standards are top-notch and teachers seem to always be very supportive to help you be prepared in all ways possible for your life and beyond. Great opportunities and vast range of extracurriculars available for students to participate ranging from leadership, sports and academic. It caters needs for a wide range of students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and makes sure to allow opportunities for students to grow and achieve excellence wherever their passion lies to be (whether it be sports or academic). Highly recommend this inclusive, positive school community and is definitely one of the best partially selective schools in the South West!

This school is an absolute disgrace, my child attended this school and was bullied for years and SHOWED PROOF to the principals and staff, no action was taken, the school did nothing to help my child. I had to move my child to a different school because their excuse was that they “couldn’t do anything” My child now suffers from long term ptsd because of this school. Teachers will not take any further action or do anything about it when the assault and constant bullying when reported and even when it’s happening right in front of the teachers and staffs eyes. They will ignore it. There are better schools in the district. Keep your children safe and stay away from this disgusting disgraceful excuse of a school and staff. This school needs to be shut down by the department of education.

What kind of school is this? Claims to be academic toppers when it does not even foster a good learning environment. If you are not part of a certain Asian ethnicity, you are sure to experience a lot of bullying in this school. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. Bullying will ruin their lives. Staff does not take any action at all. Teachers brush away students' concerns. Its a mob against you. Its sure to make your children have PTSD. The school must fix it before anything else before it can self advertise how damn good it is...

Good facility with a friendly environment, equipped with highly skilled staff. Canteen provides adequate food at a reasonable price (I'd recommend the butter chicken). The school also provides students with plenty of bubblers and water refill stations which I found great throughout my years of schooling after playing basketball. The school's basketball courts are great for sporting activities during recess/lunch as I found myself visiting it quite often. However, the toilets can get particularly crowded at times, so be sure to avoid using the bathrooms at peak times such as the start and end break times and instead aim to use the bathrooms in the middle of break times to beat the congestion and avoid the queues. 5/5 well done.
