Was a good school when Gillian Kendall and Mark Eames were in charge, but has gone downhill with new management.

I do not recommend this school. They allow certain pupils to bully more vulnerable and younger children. If you complain they just allow the bully to continue, with swearing and punching rife. It used to be a maths and computer school, but has cut its resources, and got rid of its ICT room and cookery room. There is a lack of computers, and one teacher seems to hog all the laptops and computers for her class, and doesn't use them.

My nephew goes to this school and there is very little chance of doing a GCSE, even if you ask for your child to do one. The school focuses on Entry Level English and Maths, and even if the child is capable of doing a GCSE, the teachers aren't, with some making repeated spelling mistakes and having very little knowledge of maths. There is no chance for children to specialise in other subjects towards their end years either, as the subject list has been narrowed down to just two subjects, Entry Level English and Maths.

Our son was having a bad time in mainstream schools Since coming here he has really come out of his shell and he is getting on really well.
