Coogee Public School

My mother went to the school back in the early 40s, we took her back there about five years ago now, she loved reliving those memories. The school was great, without notice they took her in, allocated two students to give us all a tour. The school, staff, kids were fantastic, you made her day and gave her a great experience she treasured until she passed away on the 27 May 2022. She was quite an amazing artist, and many years ago she did a painting of the school. Her wish was that on her passing we would donate the painting to the school, hopefully the school can and will accept it.

Went here for primary school (now a year 12 student ) and absolutely loved it. Mr wood was the best though. Lots of playground space and a good canteen! Most of the teachers were lovely too.

Dis skool gooder den other. it teech mes goods grammers and spelins. da kids like to give me funny nicknames 4 funn they call me Mr. Fat and The rolling burger machine

My daughter attended this school from years 2010 - 2016 and let me TELL YOU IT IS A HORRIBLE SCHOOL. FIRST SOME TEACHERS SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY FROM CHILDREN. AND LASTLY, THE LOCAL CHILDREN WHO ATTEND THIS SCHOOL HAVE HARASSED MY DAUGHTER MULTIPLE TIMES, WITH AN EXAMPLE OF MY DAUGHTER HAVING 2 BOYS YELL AT HER FROM THE SEATING AREA. SHE TOLD A TEACHER BUT THEY DID NOTHING. In short, Do not waste your time sending your child there.

This is a great school of just over 620 students which is caring place to learn. The principal, Paul Wood, is very qualified. The school can cater for all needs of students from K-6.
