Extremely Dissapointing admin team.
Due to personal reasons we did not proceed with enrolment and asked for a refund on the enrolment fee in which they refused. It is usually non refundable but compassion was not considered on this occasion. Seems this school doesn’t offer compassion to their community. Very poor form! Only care about profiting and that’s it.
Do not recommend based on my communications with the school.

We are thrilled to see our children thriving in an environment which encourages a love of learning both inside and outside the classroom. The support and focus on individual learning needs has been so constructive that even during Covid we’ve seen them gain confidence in all areas of their schooling.

My kids have been there since K so 10 years for us. Since the new headmaster and primary head mistress have been employed the school has taken on a different direction from the self learning open plan education style we were originally advised of and wanting to educate our children with. Its moving more towards discipline (uniform and hair styles) and grades/scores to make the board happy so very much like any other private school now. Unless some things begin to change I'll be moving ours out as the end result will not be in my childrens best interests for the education we were originally promised. There is no longer any diversity here. Its a massive investment to change but when teachers don't reply to requests to discuss matters and focus on the minor things rather than teaching the children you have to weigh up is it worth it? I've heard the same complaint from other parents so I know I'm not alone. If you are considering this school make sure you do your research.

I’ve just read your reply about wanting to discuss matters and you can’t make contact with us as I didn’t provide my name? This is the point! I’ve made several requests so far this year with Ms Phillips to discuss matters and have not been contacted. Make sure you do your research if you are considering this school.

My 14 year old daughter and 8 year old son attend NBCS. I cannot adequately express how grateful we are for the nurturing and care they receive as well as an excellent education. Without exception, their teachers are creative, inspiring, challenging (in a good way) and dedicated to improving learning outcomes for the kids. I feel particularly blessed that they are both becoming independent learners and are developing a very strong sense of personal accountability for both their learning and behaviour.

I have 3 children at the school and I could not be happier with our choice. Every time I attend a parent teacher interview I am struck by how passionate and engaged the teachers are with the students. The children are nurtured, encouraged and inspired in their learning. All of my kids are in high school now but I’m so glad we moved the younger two across for year 5. I think the new Principal, Mr Watson, has added an exciting new dynamic to the school since his arrival and I’m excited by the new opportunities for my children.
