Snowy Mountains Grammar is a K-12, co-educational day and boarding school located in Australia’s alpine adventure playground, Jindabyne, NSW. Our mission is to work with families to develop well-rounded young people with active and creative minds who have an understanding of and compassion for others, a passion for life-long learning and the courage and confidence to act on their beliefs. With an emphasis on people first, we are a welcoming and inspiring school that cares deeply about the role we play in the lives of others within our local and broader communities. Our dynamic and supportive learning environment ensures that all our students have every opportunity to uncover and discover new learning, empowering achievement and excellence beyond perceived potential. As a provider of modern education, our attitude is to remain open and agile, to innovate so as to improve the experience for students, and to prepare them for the world they are entering, and not the one that we, as adults, experienced when we were at school. In addition to providing a high-quality and rigorous academic program, our small school offers a K-12 co-curricular program that is widely recognised and attracts students from near and far. We have become school leaders in the delivery of programs such as aviation, equestrian, mountain biking and snow sports, with many other programs worthy of being added to this list. A high-quality and well-rounded education is offered right here in the Snowy Mountains, where every student can find their path in life — or create their own. Our learning environment, methodology, programs and physical spaces are continually evolving to meet the needs of a variety of learner types, and we do not believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to learning.
