Brisbane Bayside State College

i had sent my daughter here and she has said she has had been threatened to be bashed the only redeeming factor this school has going for it is its communication with parents. although they still are not able control illicit substances going around the school such as vapes and sometimes even alcohol.

My kids have been at this school for this year only. So far so good, not all perfect and a few things I scratch my head over, however, over all it is a good newish high school. Lots to offer before and after school activities that the teachers put on which is great and highly appreciated...

Brisbane Bayside may look great on the outside, but internally this school has more problems that all the other high schools I have dealt with in my time. I cannot recommend sending any child here. There annual school review on their website gives a low score.

My son has just attended his year 7 orientation to commence next year at BBSC.. so far the teachers and staff have been extremely helpful and willing to answer questions and offer assistance in navigating the enrolment process. The current students I observed around the school all seemed quite well behaved and laughing and joking before school commenced and generally just being kids. Despite the negative online reviews (most of which I suspect are current and previous students doing what teenagers do) I have observed the students in the community in transit to and from school and in general they are inoffensive, always in uniform and non-destructive. I looked at several other schools and many had students behaving poorly on school grounds and staff weren't nearly as friendly. Every school has its bad eggs but so far it seems this school is doing really well with the area demographic.
