Moved our younger kid here from Holland Park State School. We've observed a big improvement in both his engagement and motivation since. Greenslopes SS is a small school and the personal attention and touch of the caring staff make a big difference. Trevor the principal is a great bloke and no doubt has an invaluable experience helping pick the best and kindest teachers for the team. Our child is finally happy to go to school and interact with teachers and kids alike. Recommended.

I hope my teachers see this :), This school is the best primary school I have ever been to. The kids here are so nice, and the teachers, will go out of their way to support you if you have any troubles. Dont look for any other school, trust me this one is perfect. My friends and me, graduated from this school with memories for life, about the friends we made, teachers and experiences like camp. Gotta go and try this out. Best school ever :)

I believe that GSS is the best school to take your kid to. The community is so friendly and kind. Children that go to GSS will have the best education you can get. All the kids are friends with each other and the school is a no bullying zone. GSS has many things to offer to the students, including camps, excursions, music groups (choir, percussion, string instruments), dance groups, inter school sport and student leadership. Just yesterday, we had our first colour run! Walking into the school is exciting and you are curious on what you are going to do that day. All the teachers try their best to teach their class and they care about their students. Shout out to Mrs Denyer, for being the best teacher in the school. Not all students are the best, seeing as some of them aren’t that nice to people. But it’s still a great school. We are currently learning Spanish for our LOTE. Being a year 6 senior, I will miss the school very much. But, there are still a lot of fun things happening. We have graduation, a homework party (if you always bring in your homework), a big day out (the movies and sky zone/bounce), and in my class, a pyjama party. We are very lucky! We have cool senior shirts with our names on them and for graduation, we get to make a slideshow with whatever we want in it. So fun! GSS does very well in preparing us for high school. We have lessons about transitioning/high school every Thursday. Instead of all the subjects with one teacher, we have rotations. HASS and Science on Tuesday and Technology/Health and Spanish on Wednesday. This is very fundamental for our transition to high school. GSS is the best! We were recently in the newspaper. One of the students, Djuna, won an award for the library! How cool! I will certainly miss GSS. If you are enrolling your kid in primary school, GSS is the way to go! πŸ’–πŸ¦„πŸŽ€πŸŽ¨πŸŒΊπŸ

This school has given me awesome opportunities including, leadership roles, camp, choir, strings instruments and much more. When I walk in the gate a feel excited and happy for what the day will come. I think, "What will we do today? Will we be working on our movies or doing an experiment in science?" All our students are fun and our staff are amazing and go out of their way to help teach everyone and are compassionate to help every student. I have been a student at Greenslopes for almost 6years now and really, this is the best school in BrisbaneπŸπŸ’œπŸŽ€πŸ‰πŸ¦„πŸ“πŸ¬πŸ‡πŸŒ€

This school is fantastic. My son is Thai and his English is not great, but he has fitted in and is functioning well as a regular student in grade 4. This is a really cosmopolitan school and teachers, students and parents all pull together. It's a happy place and a great learning environment. My son hates to be late for school and never wants to have a day off even when he is sick.
