Hillbrook Anglican School

[This is a parent review] This private school is small and personal. I have offfered my kids to go to the big private schools for sporting activities, but they want to stay. It's an alternative to the Catholic schools and other Private schools without the Old School Tie mentality or the need for selection preparation. The students are taught to be well-rounded future citizens and are given a fair chance to mature academically (i.e. not shut out of subjects at Yr9). No school sports in the dogmatic way, but if your child is an elite sportsperson, it means they concentrate on their elite coaching and not get impacted by school sporting responsibilities. However a super sporty kid needing lots of activity may have issues. Parent cohort is good too - real people, not social climbers. Academically there are a lot of smart kids here but without the pressure found in other elite schools - the students are taught central individual responsibility and its is run like a university - no bells. This is a school for thoughtful, creative kids - Montessori and Steiner kids do well. In saying that, there is still all the stuff you find at other schools, but we have liked how they have been dealt with. A student who would be bullied at another school for being different, will be safer here. Adolescent health is super important and I have seen it impact positively the way they respond to today's pressures. Uniform is blah, but so many choices. Gender issues are not an issue here. If you want to get out of the rat race and be real, this is the school for you. Sign them up at birth as it is your place on the list that will get you in, not selection criteria like other schools require.

would definitely not recommend this school. Year 9 who attended hillbrook killed herself this year and the school doesn’t acknowledge is anymore. it’s an awful place to be and i wish i never went.

Hillbrook is such a beautiful school! They are super environmentally conscious, the staff are all lovely and caring and the facilities are top quality. Unfortunately they were affected by flooding so there's a bit of work underway at the moment but they are working around it well. I have taught 2 terms of dance classes for their awesome active after school program which has been an absolute pleasure!

Great game. Reminds me of Call of Duty. Very fast paced with ok frame rates. Love the operator skin Newton, reminds me of Michael Jackson with the fedora. Overall moderately hard-Intense game. Would definitely recommend.

great fps gameplay, could improve in storyline, and character development was terrible. i would recommend this game for the graphics its a really good school 10/10
