This school does not embrace space to be yourself. They doesn't accept anyone unless you get good grades, and fit there definition of "perfect". The schools motto is "space to be yourself" but if your any different they shoot you down instead of supporting you.

Disgraceful non accepting christian organisation. They don't care for anyone that isn't neurotypical and God-fearing. They would rather gaslight and 'make redundant' employees that have been bullied out of work than try to encorporate neurodiverce people into their workforce. Most 'teachers' and administrators are very closed minded. They do the bare minimum to avoid any punishment from Fair Work Australia. Highly recommend that you stay away from this christian organisation.

The public behaviour of the girls at this school is embarrassing. I hate to think what it’s like on school grounds if this is what they are like outside. Their parents and the school need to sit them down regularly and actually talk to them about what kindness is, how to be kind, acceptance, respectful etc. Get them off their phones and the stupidity they have absorbed. What a waste of a female education. The school seemed to offer such great potential.

horrible school. Some teachers are absolute trash. one teacher goes on her phone during class while another got mad at me for wearing small sleepers. One even got mad at a girl for having bangs😧. Others are just bossy and will find any reason to tell you off. They do not care about their students whatsoever. however some teachers are nice. The school only cares about their reputation. Do not send your child to this disgusting school. I wish i never attended this place. There is no “place to be yourself” as the school claims. My mental health has not been great since i became a student here. They act like they care about their students but they really don't do anything to help. Lessons feel endless. Worst school existing

I attended Lourdes College 1962 and 1963 year 8 and year 9, I then attended Kerr’s Business College. It was a big learning curve attending Lourdes Hill College as I just completed my Scholarship year at Morningside Public School(the very last Scholarship to be held for Brisbane)which was an excellent school, with some wonderful teachers. In those days there were only three electives studies grades, it all depended on your mathematical achievement in the Scholarship, which Grade you were placed in. You did not have an option to choose. 1. Academics classes where the classes for students who achieve high 90% Math Score, Subjects offered Religion, German English, Mathematics, all the Science corses and I think history and Geography. 2. Intermediate Classes Religion, English, Mathematics, French, history, Geography and secretarial subjects. 3. Possibly called Social Science, in that grade you did Religion, English, maths, art, cooking, sewing, possible music. Today students have a much wider range of subjects to choose from. Even though it was an Academic school, sport was available, there was a swimming pool down the bottom of the steps that took you to the river, we did have religious social groups run by a year 11 students. Piano lessons were also available by one of the sisters. School dances and other social activities. I did enjoy my time at Lourdes Hill College. On the whole the teachers were excellent at teaching and passing on their knowledge to the students. Most of the girls were friendly and settled into their new life at an all girls school. A very good experience
