Mount Gravatt State School

My son has had an extremely positive experience at this school. He has special needs and the staff are very attentive, helpful and compassionate. From Prep to Year 2, all our experiences have been very good and it's clear the staff work very hard with limited resources. They also communicate very often with parents and let us know what is happening. I would recommend this school to another family.

If I be honest, I never seen a bad school as bad as Mount Gravatt state school , If you send your child to this school, your child will never be safe, Kids are free there , they can push or beat each other up , and no one is responsible for your child, and there is no such thing as equality in education . The only they have for behaviour is a thing called a ladder , and even that is not used properly. In this school very inappropriate language is used such as “where is a knife to kill you”when your child report’s this it is only responded by”say sorry”. Please be careful if your gonna send your child to this school , as I never would recommend it. Thanks

I go to MGSS and it's the best school ever, I'm in year 5 and Prep to year 4 I was at a different school, but now that I'm here I love it.😀

Personally this school was the worst school my daughter Jishqa has ever been to. honestly really disappointed in all the teachers working at this school and the quality of the school in general. My 16 year old daughter Jishqa is in grade 6, has been to almost ever school in the state and has said that this is by far the worse school she has ever attended and my wife Jenny strongly agrees. My daughter and her girlfriend are very passionate about the LGBTTQQIAAP community and my daughter being a straight individual she gets very offended when people yell out slurs to her. Overall this school is terrible -1/10 wouldn't recommend

My son had a wonderful experience at this school. The learning support he received was outstanding and he graduated with an award. The staff are friendly and teachers are fantastic.
