Norris Road State School

Hi mr Swales I'm Hayden fuller who used to be at your school, I will always remember this school and now I'm trying out to be a school captain at my school and my school is called gulmarrad Public school so remember me 😄😄😄. This is photo of me btw.

In recent years, since a new principal started here, the school has declined. The communication to the parents has dropped and it's difficult to know what's going on. The individual teachers are great, however, and my child has enjoyed being in their classes.

Had 4 of my children there never had a problem. Now they have decided that after they allocated my son to a grade 1 class they now have put him in a composite class, which is prep and grade 1 how is that supposed to work when prep is about early learning. Teaching a child how to get ready for grade 1, no matter who I spoke to about my concerns it went on def ears including minister of education and Northside region for education, they made a class up because there grade 3 teacher didn't have a class as she only had 6 pupil's in her class. Very disappointed in that I have trusted them with my young child's education. Now They have left us with no other choice but to change schools at my cost. This can't be right. And they said this was my choice but what other choice did have, this is my child's education. Not Happy.

Principal is the worst they've ever had. She lies to parents. Told our yr 1 student he was changing class and went ahead and did it before even calling us . Parents should always be told what's going on first. So many things to say don't know where to begin.
