Runcorn State High School

Graduated from this school 7 years ago. Its a pretty ok school, but in my opinion during my time as a student the school mostly cares about Uniform policy than the education itself. The students during my time was quite disrespectful and inappropriately behave. I wouldn't really recommend this school unless you really like spots. Most of the facility is very old and dirty especially the toilet which was disgusting

My daughter started in this yr. I did a lot of research here in Brisbane before enrolling my daughter. I do not regret enrolling my daughter into this school. Excellent school indeed, cannot fault it.

well, where to begin. firstly, I would like to say the school does not manage the student problem very well. as a student I feel unsafe in my learning environment. my peers are of the up most disrespectful and i feel for the teachers that have to put up with them although. that brings me to my second point the teachers. they are too harsh to the students. and I feel unsafe around them. please fix your school or I will not send my kids here. :(

Runcorn State High School is an excellent school that offers many different pathways and opportunities. This is my sixth year in this school. Without the help and guidance of the school, it is impossible for me to grow from an ignorant child to an independent adult. I didn't get good grades in grade 6, but since coming to this school, with the help and encouragement of my teachers, I've improved dramatically. At school, there are many fun activities to choose from, such as Science Week, Harmony Day, etc., which makes me feel more like a part of the school community.

Amazing efforts and responses from the staff, especially the Guidance Counsellor. I highly recommend this school as you can completely rely on them in many times of need. I was a grade 12 student in Runcorn State High School, stuck in Sydney lockdown after a holiday, and therefore had to complete my work online with the school. The teachers knew very well how to use specific programs to allow me to access the work constantly, and they consistently asked how I was doing. The Guidance Counsellor provided the most effort in repeatedly reminding me which assessments I needed to get done and what Queensland Education would allow me to do. I highly appreciate the staffs' efforts, commitment, responsibility and compassion. A great school morally and I wish I were there to thank them.
