It used to be a good school. My kids were here for 4 years and would never recommend to anyone now. Bullying is quite bad, nothing gets done and favoritised kids get away with everything including bullying even with proof. Primary teachers are lazy with their teaching methods and some need to retire. They care about the reputation of the school more than the wellbeing of their students. Way too over competitive to the point of being unhealthy. My kids are thriving since leaving here. If you value your child’s well-being and mental health, this isn’t the place to send your kids as they do not uphold their duty of care at all.

Worst experience ever. Don’t bother wasting your money here … more interested in keeping up the appearances than educating our kids. Plus some kids with the right surnames get away with murder there. Plenty of better options around.

I am about to finish my 4th year at CAC and I am extremely grateful for my time here. I have gone to the school from year 6 to year 9, and in that time period has provided me with so many opportunities to extend my knowledge academically. Majority of teachers are very supportive of students and can keep the class productive while also not being too strict. Mrs Barker and Ms Beeforth especially are two teachers who teach their subjects brilliantly and who are amazing people. CAC has a million different clubs and extra curriculars you can choose to satisfy any interest from pitching a business product to working out at the gym. The students are also very friendly and welcoming to new students. Yes, there are always the eshays and bratty girls, but CAC has a smaller percentage of them compared to other schools on the Gold Coast. Based off my experience, I highly recommend CAC as a great school to send your child.

Enrolling your child here will leave them with permanent physical and psychological trauma, and will destroy their young, curious minds. This school will only be successful in teaching them to fear asking questions. I was enrolled in CAC from grade 2 to the end of grade 6, and the best decision I've ever made was leaving. Throughout my schooling experience, I suffered of almost all forms of bullying, including cyber, physical, psychological and social bullying. I know many people that still attend this school, and I also know that the girls that cyber-bullied me into trying to kill myself were not talked to at all, and my, as well as many other's, situation was completely brushed aside. These girls have been attempting to reach out to me again even after i left the school. I was physically bullied by two other girls. and when reaching out for the help that I desperately needed, I was told that 'Bullying was a strong word, maybe its just friendly teasing.' This school talks big about their 'NO BULLYING!' policy, but when they are faced with a real bullying situation, no action is taken at all. After having to deal with this situation by myself, because every other teacher (including head of primary) completely brushed me aside, i reached out to the school psychologist. This psychologist seemed nice at first, until she completely violated my privacy and used everything I had said in therapy against me and my family. This school pushes aside any students that are not academically gifted or sports driven, and student's who's parents work at the school are given extra medals, more opportunities and much more attention in general. Any student who was average was disregarded and were expected to teach themselves. The teachers at this school pick obvious favorites and any other students are not given the academic help they need to flourish in any way. I moved schools quite a while ago, and it wasn't until i left that I realized how messed up and cruel this place is. I have had to go through things that destroyed my mental health until it was nothing but a bloody pulp. I still go to therapy because of this school. I have problems talking to teachers because I am afraid they will yell at me constantly. After leaving I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and I still cry over simple memories of attending here. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, enroll your child here if you want them to have a happy childhood. However, if you want to completely ruin their entire innocence, purity and curiousness of the world, please, be my guest.

This school vaxxed my child without consent twice.!! Avoid !! Horrible school management. Avoid this school if you value your childs wellbeing. The bullying is institutional not only with children but extends to the management team towards parents, myself included. They also threaten, harrass if you complain and will not answer your complaint unless you get a lawyer. There is no Christian values whatsoever from the top. Do not send your kids here if you value their mental well-being !!!
