The Springfield Anglican College (TSAC) is a vibrant community in which students from Kindergarten to Year 12 are afforded a wonderful array of learning opportunities, as well as receiving all the support and encouragement needed to assist them to achieve their ambitions. Our teaching and learning philosophy places significant emphasis on students developing critical skills which will enable them to be successful in the community and the workforce. Supported by the use of technology, our staff assist students to become creative, communicative, collaborative, self-directed, reflective and critical thinkers. Our curriculum offers opportunities for those pursuing academic learning, as well as those wishing to enter vocational study, balancing traditional subjects with the development of key employability skills. Student care is at the heart of everything we do at the college. We understand that the emotional wellbeing of students is fundamental to their academic success, so we offer a holistic approach that develops students’ understanding of wellbeing through explicit teaching of strategies to develop growth mindsets, grit and wellbeing. We believe that the important learning experiences that a school provides happen in and outside of the classroom, and our vibrant and varied student activities and co-curricular programs are vital in allowing us to achieve our goals of educating the mind, body and spirit of our students Grounded in Christian values, the Anglican nature of our college encourages us to embrace diversity, accept and honour all people and strive for excellence in moral, intellectual, physical, social and cultural areas of life. Our college chaplain plays a vital role in supporting the social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of the college community and enhancing the efforts of other care professionals. We encourage you to discover more about the college and all that we have to offer:

The school would have received 5stars had some teachers not pressured my child into participating in Christian ceremonies when they are not Christian.

This school in general is good but the school went down hill a lot when the last principal left. The new principal does not care as much as he should, about the students around him this is shown when he has enough expenses to build a new sports centre instead of focusing on what needs to be fixed around the school. The uniform rule is completely blown out of portion as there is a rule where boys are not allowed to wear jewellery or even earrings, the girls cannot where jewellery either or have to wear specific earrings. Most teacher at this school are lovely but the occasional few blame there students if they had a bad day or even keep them in. In total the school is quite nice but those few things are problematic.

Some teachers are extremely nice compared to some who love to ruin your day just because they had a bad night, ever since Pitt left this school went down the wrong track with enforcing useless uniform policies and over the top rules about hairstyles and jewelry which overall hasn't reacted well with some students. Its nice to know that some teachers care about mental health but go over the top with constant check ins when some of us just want to be left alone in peace.

Incredible school! Recommend it to everyone. Reasonable prices, but lazy teaching. For the past three years, my daughter has learned Euclidean geometry, covering the same information and level of detail. Better school regime would benefit the school a lot . Other than that, this is a great private school, especially compared to the fee’s of other private school’s. Everyone is welcome, raging from years Kindergarten to 12, and a after school monitoring centre. Two seperate campuses and two seperate building blocks (After school monitoring facility and kindergarten.) The outstanding principal, Mr. Pitt has sadly left the college, and was replaced by a terrible principal. She enforces useless uniform rules, and has raised school fee’s by $2,00. (2019)

This is a great school with lots of activities and excellent use of technology. The students will never get bored for sure. Reasonable school fees compare to other private schools in Brisbane CBD.
