Regarded as a leading centre of education for girls, Rockhampton Girls Grammar is an independent non-denominational school offering day and boarding facilities for continuous education from Prep to Year 12. Boarding is available from Year 6. Our students come from diverse backgrounds across the state, the Northern Territory and internationally. Rockhampton Girls Grammar specialises in girls education. Research shows that girls achieve and learn better in girls-only schools. In a single-sex school, girls are surrounded by female role models, self-confidence is nurtured in a supportive environment, and any stereotypes about what girls can or should study don’t exist.
