Craigburn Primary School

We regretted choosing this school. The school is run to prioritise staff and money. Parents will pay for everything and then are provided with little for their kids. Unsafe grounds and OSCH the kids hate as it’s in a gym which is an uncomfortable environment for the little ones. The school has no respect for the kids or the parents. It’s all about them.

Overall I have to say I'm disappointed with Craigburn Primary School particularly over time as some staff members have moved on and been replaced. There is a lack of forward thinking and intervention before issues become too much. They're ill equipped from a qualified staffing point to deal with conflict between kids (no qualified counsellor available to students anymore). There's a lack of action in regards to the handling of verbal bullying (it's ignored until your child retaliates physically and is then blamed entirely). No willingness to work with parents on a solution that is incentivised for the child, just suspensions & public humiliation through banning certain areas for my child to play with peers. Staff members have verbally labelled one of my children with a condition before a professional diagnosis has even happened. Consequent stigmas and poor academic results ensue as a result from both our children attending this school. Time to look at alternatives.
