Amazing school but man the South Australian curriculum is slack compared to Victoria.
Love all my past teachers and friends over there though.

Love this school, both my children were so blessed to be guided with love and kindness by the beautiful staff.
Excellent academics , my kids are doing so well at high school and the transition was made with so much confidence because of the love and guidance they have received here.
Highly recommend this school to families looking for a solid Christian teaching and education.
Thank you Sunrise, we are forever grateful for the blessings you’ve showered on our family.

I love the ethos and how the education is Christ centred, which has allowed this school to be an extension of our home. We love how they love, nurture and care for our children and this has helped them become very confident children knowing who they are and the plans God has for them.
They have give my children a solid grounding in their faith and I love how the teachers and staff are invested to see my children flourish.

I went to this school when I was younger. The work loads were pretty easy the teachers were friendly. However, the difference between Grade 7 here and Grade 8 in my high-school was far too big. Background knowledge of the standard subjects were not there, transitioning into Grade 8 was tough. I felt like I had wasted a good few years. The teachers are not fully at fault, many people in my Sunrise Class were below average students, they prevented learning to move forward and the bar for the class was dropped significantly. Much of the stuff learned in Grade 7 was revision on Grade 4-6 stuff. Basic spelling and basic "Mental Math" was all apart of Grade 7 with fractions being the most complex thing taught. Moving into Grade 8, it moved to text analysis/essays and Index laws. I started Grade 8 just passing the average, could've at least taught me simple algebra in Grade 7. I know this isn't an academic school but rather for building up character but there should at least be some more complex things taught so the transition to Grade 8 would be easier. Students who are less intelligent should not bring the class standards lower.
