Fantastic school great warm community feel, the staff are wonderful nothing to fault here perfect school. Both kids are in the steiner stream and thriving, absolutely happy here. Fantastic Stephanie Alexander kitchen program ,gardening,music,arts,sport, life skills, crafts and so much more. Best school in Victoria. Principal is fantastic, caring and many ,many years of experience, knows all the kids names amazing! Thursdays we have the community market after school the kids love it. We also have the farmers market every month, the 4th Saturday , details on website.

We moved to BE from another mainstream school that had absolutely no soul. With Steiner running concurrently in this school, I feel the mainstream delivery has a dimension of care that the other schools we have looked at did not. Natural principles with a beautiful teaching garden and kitchen makes this school stand out, and my children love it. I must remark on the kids at this school - they really are grounded and calm - significantly so compared to our last school! Really nice kids, and friendly non-pretentious parents. We felt at home straight away - I met more parents in one week here than in three years at the other school! It's been a very good experience.

A community-oriented school with heart that offers a Steiner stream and a main stream. My children have thrived in the Steiner stream and have loved their experience of school. They've had great teachers and have particularly loved the wide range of additional programs - the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, the craft lessons, the music/orchestral progam and the community market on Thursdays after school. The school grounds are great - plenty of space for playing, lots of trees and an 'open' feel because the school backs on to a golf course. Worth a look.

A beautiful school with a great "bush-feel" to it. Highly committed teachers, friendly and helpful admin staff. Steiner stream provides a wonderful primary school education - fostering the creative and artistic in all kids - teaching them how to think for themselves rather than being stuffed with information. The breadth and depth of their project work is excellent - no tinfoil fish here.
