I didn't really realise how lucky I was to go here. Maybe I'm romanticising it in hindsight, but there was minimal racism and the teachers actually care, which is much more than I can say for any school I've been to since. Sure it's a low bar but this place was genuinely really good. There's not that many people illiterate by the end of year 6, and that's a lot better of an indicator than you think it is. Overall it's the best primary school in the area by far. To anyone reading this on their iPads in DPS right now, this school is much better than other ones trust. Take the opportunities it gives you as well. Do stuff like kids teaching kids if they still have that.

Very good school. Am currently in Grade 6 and I’m loving my time. Great teachers, amazing facilities and looks breathtaking at sunset. Will definitely miss my time at this school. If your looking to enrol your kids, then go for it. You won’t regret it.

Was there today cutting a tree branch that needed to be cut. I was there with a friendly guy called ben. Went inside to go cut some more branches and i really liked the fact that this school planted alot of trees and they have even made a veggie patch for the little kids to plant stuff. Good on you guys! :D

I’ve had an absolute nightmare of a time with this school and it made my first experience as a parent of a child in primary school a complete mess, more stressful than it needed to be and often frustrating. The way they attempt to “resolve” issues between students as well as not even establish the facts is a joke. Have had and continue to have issues with one particular child in my sons class as well as their older sister. Constant bullying from them both and the solution is to make my son attend lunchtime “clubs”. You can have all the modern gadgets in the world but there is no sense of community here and despite trying to communicate my issues, particularly that my child is not very good at bringing notes home there is no resolution for any issues raised. Just “talks to the teacher” when I made the teacher well aware months ago he now missed out on swimming and the ONLY excursion the preps went on all year because it was LIMITED TO ONLY 80 of them. HOW STUPID IS THAT!!??!!? Where’s the inclusion? How disappointing is it to have your child miss out even after explaining the issues you have been having and then have no solution offered. Safe to say I cannot wait to see the back of this place.
