Overport Primary School

My daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons moved to Frankston South in late 2021. My youngest grandson commenced Grade 4 at Overport Primary School in 2022. He is thoroughly enjoying the change and has made many new friends, really likes his teachers and is doing really well at the school. My husband and I have attended various activities the school conducts throughout the year - such as Sports Days, the Colour Fun Run and the Easter Bonnet Parade. The school also participates in the Energy Breakthrough Challenge which my grandson absolutely loved. This gives students from Grade 4 onwards opportunities to work as a team to design, build, test and ultimately push, pedal and race their carts in a competition with other Victorian schools in Maryborough each year. The school is modern, clean with teachers that are very approachable.

This school ruined my life, I was admitted into a psych ward and have never been mentally okay since I moved here. Over all 5/5 great school I love you miss lacy please come and teach at Mount Eliza college

It's a good school.. till the teacher in year 4, her name is miss Robinson force my son to eats the papers. I don't know if she realized about choking hazards could happened. I've spoke to someone at the office they said the teacher just a joking. However if its was a joked why doesn’t she tried to stopped him for eaten the papers in front of her and the students in the class. 10 years old boy are quite understand the different between joked and serious. He was scared of her,, He said bcs once in while she was screaming in the whole class too. My son are obedience boy at school and at home thats how I raised my son in my culture. I understand the teachers sometimes got pressure but my son as known as a good student at the school. I accepted the discipline for their own benefit. But not made them to eats the papers 📃 I was broken as a mum😢

The school is horrible, every day I wake up dreading going to this terrible school. I hate it here, always have. Anyways, pretty good school. Solid 9/10.
