When you choose Cornish College, you choose a wealth of educational experiences. From our passionate, experienced staff to the many cocurricular opportunities, Cornish offers education quite like no other.  Located on 100 acres of natural parkland, Cornish provides space for Early Learning to Year 12 students to stretch their legs and their curiosity, exploring knowledge beyond the classroom walls and in nature’s classroom. Our environment is the key to our vision of educating students for a sustainable, thriving future. We are committed to this vision, engaging our students beyond textbooks and encouraging a different way of thinking — one that considers how our decisions impact the world around us.  Our motto is ‘Make a Difference’. At the heart of this is our dedication to developing independence, compassion and personal excellence amongst our students, ensuring they have the capacity and the desire to make a difference, both locally and globally.  “I see a horizon of endless opportunities for this learning community to embrace the innovation and progressive thinking that has long been our point of difference,” said principal Nicola Forrest.  “At Cornish, we are developing curriculum for a sustainable future with structures that mobilise the attitudes, skills, knowledge and values required for young people to become the best individuals they have the capacity to be,” she said.  We embed sustainability in all teaching and cocurricular activities. We do this through our Rings of Sustainability, which underpin our curriculum and focus on natural, personal, socio-cultural and urban/technological sustainability.  The Senior Studies Centre is an important learning environment for our growing school. With a culture grounded in sustainability at all levels, this building will make a huge difference to the learning of our current and future senior students. It provides an environment for powerful learning, suited to the demands for global competencies while maintaining a connection with our beautiful grounds for student wellbeing.  Our VCE program provides choices that respond to student readiness, with opportunities to access VCE subjects over three years, creating space for wellbeing and important cocurricular opportunities.  Join us for our next school tour and discover why Cornish College is educating for a sustainable, thriving tomorrow.   For more information, contact Admissions at admissions@cornishcollege.vic.edu.au or call 9781 9000.

Lady in applications office quite rude We applied well over 2 years ago and kept trying to get updated after being told 2 years ago - apply it’s a short wait list ?????? Every 4 months I would just touch base and was shot down for asking . Get your stuff together . If people are wanting to apply for the school, be grateful and encouraging . We no longer kept our application at this school and judging by the comments , we can see why !!

Second class education at first class cost. The staff have the most utterly appalling approach to student wellbeing and a tenuous grasp on how to deliver a holistic approach to education despite this being the cornerstone of their ethos. We ended up spending a considerable amount of money to address the relentless bullying our child experienced at this school and could not even begin to quantify the emotional cost. Utterly appalling school and staff

My Son chose this school and we are so pleased he did! Young people have space to run, play and breath in an environment of native bush. The culture of academic excellence without risking mental health is refreshing. Highly recommend!

I would highly advise not sending your children here. The place is a mess, there’s mud everywhere, the facilities are terrible and the level of education is definitely not the standard of a private school, let alone a decent public school. There is little to no enjoyment your child will experience here unless they develop some good friends, and overall I would never send my kids here again
