Mullauna College

Mullauna College is a community where students and teachers are actively engaged in learning. Our classroom focus creates a learning environment that values excellence and promotes creativity, curiosity, courage and community involvement. Teaching and learning programs are enriched by a comprehensive co-curricular program, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their personal best and experience success. Students are actively encouraged to participate in camps, sport, music, the performing arts, debating, Central Australia tour and the World Challenge Expedition, as well as pursue leadership opportunities through captaincy, student governance and student-led activities. While our college focus is academic excellence, the fundamental belief that happy, healthy, resilient students learn and achieve their best is a guiding philosophy. Our recently completed building program has provided our community with a variety of modern, well-equipped, purposeful learning spaces to enhance stimulating teaching and learning. Improvements include a new Junior Learning Centre including new, modern science labs; a new Art and Design Centre; the new Mullauna Makerspace and a new MasterChef-style kitchen. This recent building work was also expanded to include new outdoor spaces, including basketball and netball courts, gondola seating, Gaga pits and an outdoor BBQ and lunch area. We now look forward to our next building program, which will commence in mid 2022. Stage 1 will see the completion of a new purpose-built double story classroom complex, with modern and adaptable classroom spaces.
