For almost 150 years, PLC has been at the forefront of girls’ education, inspiring our students to follow their passions, explore every opportunity and achieve to the very best of their abilities.   Nurtured within a strong Christian community, our girls care for and respect one another, becoming global citizens with an informed understanding of other cultures and a deep appreciation for the world around them.   At PLC our focus is on the whole student, supporting each girl’s academic, emotional, social, creative, physical and spiritual wellbeing. Personal achievement across all areas of ability and endeavour are carefully nurtured and celebrated as part of their individual learning journey.   We encourage families to visit during one of our many School Tours and see first-hand what sets us apart and discover why your daughter will benefit from a life-changing educational experience at PLC.  At PLC we inspire girls to achieve their own personal excellence across all fields of interest, establishing the foundations for life-long learning that will enrich their lives and prepare them for a bright future ahead. Our teachers work side by side to encourage them to think beyond the boundaries, work collaboratively and utilise real-world technology to solve problem in a global setting.  Our holistic Student Wellbeing program is designed to support each girl at the different stages of her development; balancing resilience with a healthy and positive mindset and providing the knowledge and skills to achieve her very best.  Beyond the classroom, girls at PLC learn the importance of team work as enjoy a world of opportunities for personal exploration and fulfilment. Through participation across a wide range of co-curricular activities, our girls develop a strong sense of empowerment and social justice as well as a compassion for others that will help them go on to shape the world they live in.  The co-curricular program ensures that there is a commitment to nurturing and developing talent and that there are opportunities for all girls to explore their passions, broaden their horizons and experience success, enjoyment and fulfilment beyond the classroom.  To attend a School Tour visit https://www.plc.vic.edu.au/admissions/school-tours For more information contact admissions@plc.vic.edu.au

The only reason why I came to this school was because of the geese roast. I heard all about it and was incredibly excited, however when I got there all I got was disgusting mac n' cheese. One time I even found hair in it!!! They once tried to poison me with crab and try to rip you off by never giving you the right bill. This is all true :( This was 5 years ago and I have heard worse from my friends still there. Do not go to this school. You will be forced back in to the 1800s where they make you sit in rows like a prisoner. You will die and be forever be traumatised. WARNING. DON'T GO

My daughter and our family find PLC nurturing, motivating and inspiring and we love the school’s cultural diversity.

I'm an old collegian myself and I have a daughter who is primary school age. Back in my days, it was a great school with a great mix of girls from all different background/race. However, I'm not sure if I want to enroll my daughter at PLC as it has become a school with one ethnic group. I understand the school is ATAR driven but would be good to be a school which attracts different races as well as academically strong girls.

The most selfish drivers at the senior school. No U-turns is not so you can drop your child off and then do one without thought to anyone else. No stopping is just that but time and time again I see parents dropping their children off and letting them run in front of cars doing the right thing. If your child gets injured who's fault is it? Shame on you parents who only think of yourself.
