Caladenia Primary School

I was a student in the school from pre-primary to year 6. One of the best schools in WA. Some of the kindest teachers you will ever meet and actually teach students in multiple different ways that your children will understand. But when I had problems at home, the teacher that told my problems to sided with my parents over me, making me feel guilty for being wrong, I have talked to other people about these problems and they all sided with me, no teacher should ever make a kid feel the same way that I did. Even though I miss the school, it also has given me a bad aftertaste of the kids welfare.

Principal very literally caused my academic downfall. If he had been more attentive and not told every kid to be ‘the best that they can be’ I would have become a child genius.

My kids currently attend Caladenia and as has been mentioned in many reviews here, the teachers are absolutely fantastic, the deputy principals make it a point to greet parents each morning, and the principal comes across as a very caring person. HOWEVER, the people at the school office are the worst I have come across. Unapproachable, unfriendly, and down right uncaring. As a parent, I do not feel welcomed at all every time we have to go to the office for anything. Be prepared for one word answers, the standard you should have read the instructions carefully, or we can't do this because everybody will be asking for the same thing responses. Brilliant and high-performing school, but if the attitude of the office staff can be improved, that would make it even better.

Wonderful school, excellent teachers and principal. Friendly deputy principals always ready to greet students and parents. With many students in this top school, the reception admin staff do their best to help everyone quickly. Well done and great job everyone in nurturing my 2 boys and the other 940 students!
