Details

Corpus Christi College is a Years 7 to 12 co-educational Catholic College located in Bateman, Western Australia. At Corpus, we are focused on future-proofing our students, developing their skills to connect with others and challenging them to be curious and creative. Our ongoing commitment to progressive new infrastructure projects ensures our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and learning areas designed to enhance their educational experience. As one of few co-educational Apple Distinguished schools in Western Australia, we are a pioneering force in secondary education, boasting a superior IT-enabled learning environment and delivering on our commitment to provide a cutting-edge curriculum beyond the traditional classroom and a personalised learning experience for every student. We have earned a strong reputation in the community as a college that is visionary and prophetic, we focus on success, enabling our students to be independent learners who are confident, resilient and committed to achieving their potential. Our vision for learning — Ignite the Spirit — challenges every learner in our community to seize their potential and push the boundaries of possibility. We recognise that students are individuals with their own learning challenges, that’s why we offer tailored support to ensure students are achieving to their potential, whether it be additional help in numeracy and literacy, plans to prevent underperformance, or accelerated curriculum to extend those who are academically gifted and talented. With an online digital portal available to parents 24/7, communication about our students is easily accessible and families have ‘real-time’ access to current grades and performance. We offer guided pathways for students’ career journey of choice, whether it be university, TAFE, apprenticeship or work placement. Of the Senior School cohort, two-thirds enrol in ATAR level subjects, and one-third take up opportunities in Vocational Education and Training, including nationally recognised certificates and workplace learning. We believe that each student is unique and aim to foster a joy in learning through creating and maintaining a caring and inclusive college community. We have over 50 extra-curricular clubs and groups that promote the opportunity for each child to shine with their own given talents and build confidence in personal success and achievement, while respecting the success of others.
