At Aquinas we believe it’s not what our boys become, but who they become that truly matters. Our main focus is on educating, in partnership with parents, young men who strive to do their best for others. It’s where good men grow. We offer a vibrant school life steeped in mateship, academic success, an enriching arts program and sporting tradition with a belief in service, achievement and commitment. Aquinas is one of the oldest schools in Western Australia, with a history dating back to 1894. It is known for its beautiful grounds, and excellent academic and sporting environments. Aquinas College is a school for boys in the Public Schools Association (PSA). It is a school made up of young men from a variety of different backgrounds who are aware of the privileges Aquinas offers. Catering for K-12, with day students and boarders, we have an innovative curriculum, outstanding facilities and dedicated teachers who genuinely care about their students. Character education is integral to Aquinas College’s aim and purpose as it supports boys on their journey to become good men. Specifically, character education supports our faith formation programs by: One of the strengths of Aquinas is our diverse and innovative curriculum, which provides a range of learning opportunities. Our programs for boys deliver a comprehensive mix of core academic and co-curricular activities to equip your son with the knowledge, skills and values required to succeed in life. The college also has dedicated Inclusive Education staff to assist students experiencing difficulties with literacy or numeracy. For the more academically gifted, the Academic Scholar Program focuses on expanding cultural and academic horizons, hosted by guest lecturers and experts in their fields. Our Aquinas myFUTURE framework uses a blended learning model to carefully mix a traditional model of education with the flexibility required for life-long learners in the future. We have adapted to the current needs of the tertiary sector and future of work to provide students with a more relevant education with greater breadth and depth. The Student Leadership program at Aquinas College is designed on the premise that all students have leadership potential and are called to become leaders by being active participants in life and work — not only in the college community, but also broader society. The purpose of the student leadership program is to provide leadership experiences to all boys in the college, which provide opportunities to develop the skills and character traits of good leadership: collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication. We strongly believe all boys who uphold college values and demonstrate good behaviour, dedication, and effort in all aspects of their school life while meeting the demands of a variety of challenges should be acknowledged by being recognised as a Student Leader within their school.  Our focus in boarding is on giving our boarding students a caring, safe and comfortable residence during the school term which offers them a place to relax, study, participate in leisure activities and build strong support networks among friends and staff members. Residential life for Aquinas College boarders begins before they leave home. We know it’s not always easy to start a new school when you don’t know anyone, so our Aquinas Connect program, designed for students entering Year 7 or Year 8 boarding the following year, helps build friendships and connections between students before they move into boarding. The program uses a range of initiatives to engage the boys in conversations and activities to help them get to know each other and their families. Students from all parts of Australia and overseas come together to create a truly vibrant community that is nurturing, where lifelong friendships are developed by both boys and boarding families. The best way to understand what a school has to offer your son is by experiencing it first-hand. We understand that selecting a school for your son is a very big decision. At Aquinas, we aim to make the process as simple as possible. We don't have application deadlines; we can accept student’s mid-year if spaces are available and we're able to work with you to make the process fit your schedule. Book a tour today.

I tutor on the Stockport beekeeping course and the facilities are excellent. The display screens have been updated so you can access the computer system directly from the board instead of a terminal. Brilliant. Staff are very helpful.

Great staff, great students for the most part- a very welcoming environment with a very relaxed vibe to it. I’ve had to knock a star off purely because the amount of underage smoking that went on during my time there used to make me very uncomfortable. The courses were very interesting with kids who were focused on their learning, and the staff were very helpful :)

It's a fantastic college ever. The staff was very helpful and it's been wonderful. I can't stop talking about it. It's brilliant. Brilliant staff and two best tutors at Pathways I like. Nadya Drake and Thom Greensill.

My time studying there were honestly two of the best years of my life. My teachers were kind and dedicated but also firm, and definitely helped motivate me to push my grades up. The facilities were outstanding, with so much subject choice that really helped focus my decisions for a future career path. I felt very well looked-after and that I was given the opportunity to thrive. It's also gorgeous on the inside, modern and minimalist but with a beautiful little indoor chapel with stained glass windows. I loved studying here as a college student and also benefited from their evening classes, which are also very high-standard. Both my younger brother and sister also attended and were able to perform to the best of their ability.
